Delphi Meteora Tour

DELPHI - METEORA 3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS

DAY 1: DELPHI

Drive to Delphi through Levadia and Arachova. Upon arrival visit the museum of the Athenian treasury, visit the temple of Apollo and Castalia spring. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.

DAY 2: METEORA

Morning at leisure. Drive by the Central Greek towns of Amphissa, Lamia and Trikala to arrive in Kalambaka. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.

DAY 3: Athens Return

In the morning visit the breath taking Meteora and then drive back to Athens, passing through Thermopylae (visit of Leonidas Monument) and Kamena Vourla.

DAY 1: OLYMPIA

Drive by the coastal road to the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive to Epidaurus (visit the theatre of Epidaurus famous for its remarkable acoustics) and then on to Nauplia (short stop). Drive to Mycenae where you will see the Lion's Gate and the archaeological museum and then depart for Olympia through the central Peloponnese, passing through the towns of Megalopolis and Tripolis. Dinner and overnight in Olympia.

DAY 2: DELPHI

In the morning visit the archaeological site with the sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the ancient stadium and the archaeological museum. Drive via Patra to Rion cross the channel to Antirion through the new bridge and pass through the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos arriving in Delphi. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.

DAY 3: Athens Return

In the morning visit the museum, the Athenian treasury, visit the temple of Apollo, and Castalia Spring. Return to Athens early evening.

In the morning visit the beautiful monasteries where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. In the early afternoon drive back to Athens passing via Thermopylae (visit of Leonidas monument) and Kamena Vourla.

DAY 1 : DELPHI

Drive by Trikala and Larissa to the famous sacred Macedonian town of Dion (short visit). Then continue to Thessaloniki, the largest town in Northern Greece. Visit the most interesting museum of Thessaloniki and sightsee the city. Dinner and overnight

DAY 4: THESSALONIKI

In the morning drive to Pella, Alexander the Greats' capital. Continue to Vergina to visit the tomb of the King Philip and the famous "Vergina Treasures". Continue to Lefkadia where you visit the local excavations. Return to Thessaloniki via Veria. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: Athens Return

Start the return drive to Athens through the Tempi Valley, Larissa, Lamia, Thermopylae famous for the ancient battle led by Leonidas of Sparta and his 300 warriors, Kamena Vourla and arrive in Athens.

DAY 3: DELPHI

In the morning drive via Patras to Rion where you cross by car ferry to Antirion driving through Nafpaktos and arrive in Delphi. You'll visit the archaeological site and the remainder day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.

DAY 4: METEORA
