According to the Greek mythology, the god Dionysos was the son of Zeus and Semeli. Hera the wife of Zeus, filled with jealousy, caused Semeli's death leaving Dionysos orphaned. Zeus chose five nymphs, the Yades, as caretakers of his infant son and they raised him in an idyllic landscape filled with trees and flowers of every color.

Their names (Yades) symbolize beauty, care, magic and attractiveness, while their five shining stars represent the quality, the luxury and distinctiveness in today's Greek hospitality.

DAY 1 - Welcome to Athens

Once you arrive in Athens you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to the hotel. The remainder day is free to rest.

DAY 2 - Athens Tour / Acropolis

Enjoy a tour of Athens combining many of the city's principal modern and classical sights such as Constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Solder and the National Library. At the Acropolis visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens, the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike and finally the beautiful Parthenon and its museum. The afternoon is free to explore the Plaka (old Athens section), Ermou Square for shopping and a taste of a Greek souvlaki or visit Monastiraki flea market.

DAY 3 - Car Rental & Olympia

Begin your adventure by driving your car from Athens through the coastal road to the Corinth Canal. After a short stop to enjoy the views of the Isthmus continue your drive to Olympia through the central Peloponnese, passing through the towns of Megalopolis and Tripolis. (approximate driving time from Athens to Olympia is 4.5 hours)

DAY 4, 5, 6, 7 - Lefkada

After breakfast in Olympia, visit the archaeological site with the sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the ancient stadium and the archaeological museum. Then, drive via Patra to Rion cross the channel to Antirion and continue through Messologi and the coastal road to cross through a small draw bridge that connects the mainland with the beautiful island of Lefkada. Arrive at Pavezzo Country Retreat, a collection of Venetian houses that capture the architecture and cherished lifestyle of the island's noble heritage. During your stay visit charming villages, fantastic seas and important eco-environments such as lake Maradohori. Don't miss a stroll through the city's stone-paved "marketplace", archaeological museum and the Castle of Agia Mavra. (approximate driving time 4.5 hours)

DAY 8, 9, 10 - Corfu (Kerkira)

Continue your drive via Igoumenitsa where you will take the ferry (to include your car) to the island of Corfu. Greece's greenest island, Corfu, offers glorious options for your enjoyment such as rich history, culture, traditions, the exquisite pleasures of local cuisine, a cosmopolitan night life, serene setting and of course magnificent sea. Enjoy your stay at Villa de Loulia situated in the village of Peroulades. A historic mansion dating back to 1800 on lovely grounds covered in trees, flowers and plants, filling the air with the aroma of Mediterranean vegetation. (approximate driving time 3.5 hours)

Day 11 - USA

On this last day drop-off your car early in the morning at the Corfu airport. Take a short flight to Athens where you will connect with your international flight back to the United States.
